USISPF was pleased to host a focused energy industry briefing with Dr. V Anantha Nageswaran, the Chief Economic Advisor (CEA), Government of India, in New Delhi.
The interaction brought together a small group of senior energy leaders to exchange views on India’s long-term growth, energy transition, and investment outlook.
The delegation was led by Dr. Prasanna V. Joshi, Corporate Director – Economics and Energy at exxonmobil, who shared key takeaways from ExxonMobil’s Global Outlook 2025 – a focused view on demand and supply of energy and related products through 2050.
The group commended the Government of India for its forward-looking energy policy and regulatory reforms aimed at attracting investments and supporting the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision
On the margins of the delegation meeting,
Nivedita Mehra, Managing Director – USISPF, India, presented the Forum’s Pre-Budget Memorandum to Dr. Nageswaran.
She reiterated that the industry across both the United States and India remains optimistic about the continuation of a holistic, predictable, and growth-oriented business environment.
