USISPF hosted a closed-door roundtable on “AI Strategy Across Quad Nations” featuring Ms. Sharmistha Dasgupta, Deputy Director General, National Informatics Centre and IndiaAI Mission; Simon Milner, VP, Public Policy for APAC, Meta; and officials from the embassies of the U.S., Australia, the U.K., and Israel. Along with representatives of industry and civil society, the featured speakers discussed AI governance approaches within Quad and like-minded nations, open-source AI applications, India’s upcoming AI Impact Summit, and balancing copyright and AI development.
