USISPF in partnership with Consulate General of India, New York hosted a discussion on reforms and opportunities in India’s insurance sector at the Indian Consulate in New York City, NY.
The interaction featured a virtual presentation from Mr. Parshant Kumar Goyal, Joint Secretary of Insurance- Ministry of Finance. This session provided expert insights into the reforms proposed by the Government of India in its Union Budget 2025-26, including commitments to raise the FDI limit and simplify the guardrails and conditionalities associated with foreign investment in the sector.
