Dr. Aghi touched on the robustness of the US-India defense partnership which has grown in strength over the years with the US designating India as a Major Defense Partner. Since then, Washington and New Delhi have signed foundational defense-related agreements and conducted a large number of joint military exercises in the Indo-Pacific.iCET and INDUS-X will be pivotal in consolidating the relationship in an era of AI, quantum, cyber, space, and drone technology. The focus for both countries remains on securing a free and open Indo-Pacific and building on the defense and security partnership.
