USISPF hosted a Leadership Dialogue titled “AI Diffusion and Impact in India” with Mr. Abhishek Singh, CEO IndiaAI Mission and Additional Secretary, MeitY, Lisa Monaco, President, Global Affairs, Microsoft, and other senior industry and civil society representatives.
The discussion highlighted the need for AI diffusion for enhancing productivity, efficiency, and scaling AI applications for end-user benefits.
Key themes of discussions were the need to democratize access to AI resources, especially for nations of the Global South, ensuring sustainable energy sources for AI expansion, sustaining and scaling pilot programs for AI applications, and AI governance for ensuring trusted deployment of AI.
The Leadership Dialogue was an official pre-summit event in the lead-up to the AI Impact Summit to be held on February 19-20 in New Delhi.
