The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) welcomes the 10-year defense framework pact signed by the U.S. Secretary of War, Peter Hegseth and India’s Minister of Defence, Shri. Rajnath Singh in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 10-year defense framework pact will provide more concrete policy direction and reinforce the robust partnership between Washington and New Delhi. As both the Minister and Secretary underscored, the pact is a strong signal of growing strategic convergence. It emphasizes the priorities of both democracies towards securing a free, open, and rules-based Indo-Pacific region.
