To mark the 8th anniversary of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India, USISPF in partnership with Deloitte, is hosting a virtual session titled “GST @8.” The event will take a closer look at how GST has evolved over the past eight years, reshaping India’s indirect tax landscape and fostering a more unified market. The session will be chaired by Mr. Gaurav Singh, Commissioner – GST Policy Wing, CBIC and will include insights on policy developments, implementation experiences, and emerging priorities.
A key part of the session will be a debrief on findings from Deloitte’s GST @8 survey, offering perspectives on industry sentiment, ongoing challenges, and expectations from the GST framework moving forward. The event will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue on the future of GST and its impact on businesses.
